2005 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Participated in numerous river cleanups as part of the It's Our River Day program
- Supported the Kishwaukee Ecosystem Partnership
- Supported the Fox River Ecosystem Partnership
- Lent support to the Illinois DNR in sampling Little Kickapoo Creek
- Participated and donated money to Shabbona Lake Rockfest
- Participated in Fox River habitat enhancement plantings
- Participated in critical log jam removals on the Kishwaukee River
- Assisted the IDNR with Kishwaukee River smallmouth stocking
- Held children's fishing events to promote conservation, including our Annual Kids Derby, and our appearance at the Illinois State Fair
- Participated in tagging and stocking smallmouth bass in the Kaskaskia River
- Joined forces with the National Fish Habitat Initiative
- Participated in a planning symposium for Northerly Island in the Lake Michigan watershed
- Creation of a Conservation Committee, and the addition of a Scientific Advisor to our staff
- Held river cleanups on the Sangamon the South Fork of the Vermilion
